The DWM-02N digital wireless microphone is part of the DWX series, which features all-digital high-quality operation, shorter audio latency, and a more reliable RF transmission mode, making it ideal for a wide variety high-quality applications, including streaming studio content, plays and concerts.

The DWM-02N does not come with a microphone capsule to provide more flexible use for users, as the interchangeable head mechanism of the DWM-02N supports capsules from Sony and other manufacturers . With Sony’s three microphone heads (CU-C31, CU-F31 and CU-F32) and wide variety of compatible third-party capsules, the DWM-02N wireless handheld microphone is the perfect solution, whatever your needs.

The DWX Series system offers superb wireless transmission quality with 24-bit digital audio. Its improved codec and new hardware promote superior sound quality with low audio latency.

The DWX Series works with Sony Wireless Studio control software for PC and Wireless Studio Mobile for smartphone*, allowing users to control the system with complete flexibility. It is possible to remotely control up to 82 transmitters thanks to the Cross Remote™ function associated with the RMU-01 remote control unit.

* Operating systems supported by Wireless Studio Mobile: iOS version 8.0 or later and Android version 4.1 or later.

Low audio latency and high quality sound

MODE2 offers higher audio quality with an A/D converter reaching a sampling rate of 96 kHz and a very low audio latency of 1.5 msec**.

For customers in North America

The DWM-02N/30 and DWM-02N/42 models operate on the 617 MHz to 652 MHz or 663 MHz to 698 MHz frequency band. Since 2017, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has moved these frequencies to the 600 MHz band to meet the growing demand for high-speed wireless services. Users of these models must stop using these frequencies no later than July 13, 2020. In addition, they may be asked to cease their activities before this date, if they cause interference with the wireless operations of a licensee of the 600 MHz band on these frequencies. For more information, please contact the FCC.
