Vinten engineers have worked closely with camera operators, visiting broadcasts worldwide to truly understand their needs. The result is a design with extended payload, unique features, and exceptional control, carefully engineered to solve real-world challenges and meet the exacting demands of live television.
In this system the Versine 360 is combined with an Osprey Plus S OB pedestal, mounting easily via the included Quickfix adaptor. The Osprey Plus S OB is a fully steerable version of the Osprey Plus OB. It has 2 stages for achieving very high and low shots, and the upper stage is perfectly balanced for ‘on shot’ tracking of talent. With an integral manual pump and an inlet valve for use with an external supply, Perfect Balance is easy to achieve. A detachable skid allows the pedestal to be simply broken down into two sections for easy storage and transportation. The Osprey Plus S OB has a selector for both single wheel and all wheel crab steering and comes with 16cm / 6.3 inch wheels for greater ground clearance in outside broadcast applications.
