In addition to a larger size, the Shinobi 7 supports 4K60, featuring an HDMI 2.0 input and output, as well as 2K60p via a 3G-SDI input and, as a bonus, the Shinobi 7 will cross-convert between HDMI and SDI with 4K to 2K down conversion.

Use the lightweight Shinobi 7 as an on-camera monitor that features support for 3SD-LUTs, Waveform, RGB, Histogram, and an analysis mode with a multi-scope view. It is well-suited for use with box-type cameras that don’t have an EVF or viewfinder, as well as cameras with small attached viewscreens. The Shinobi 7 supports camera control for a variety of cameras via optional cables. It is also suitable for use as a director’s monitor or from which your assistant can pull focus. With loop-through output, you can feed the Shinobi 7 and send the signal downstream to other monitors or recorders. Dual battery slots allow the monitor to remain powered throughout your production day, with no need to reboot because of a battery change. Featuring the same ease of use as the original Shinobi monitor, with powerful updates for improved functionality and use, the Shinobi 7 fills the need for a larger, lightweight on-camera monitor for filmmakers of all styles and experience.
