LR2, Videoradio with HDMI and SDI up to 700m based on WHDI technology. The DC-LINK-LR2 is a second generation video radio from DwarfConnection with a range of up to 700m in a direct view that brings numerous innovations with it. Of course the 2nd generation video radio systems are downward compatible and can be easily combined and expanded with the well known LR1 and CLR1 systems. To find the optimal channel, the LR2 has a frequency scanner and an antenna functioning monitor (DC-SCAN) wich can be used as an output via the HDMI port on the reciever. The wireless transmission of video signals and the frequency monitor can only be used alternately. The special stability of all DC-LINK video radio systems is achieved by deliberately avoiding DFS (Dynamic Frequency Selection). As a result the video radio can only be used on the channels provided for this purpose. The fans on the transmitter and reciever can be regulated as required or switched off completely. The OSD (on-scree-display) can also be switched on and off. An OLED display on the transmtiter and reciever provides information about the selected channels, the temperature and the charge level of the battery. Five large LED´s on the reciever indicate the reception quality even in bright surroundings. The LR2 video radio supports timecode and the transmission of start and stops signals and is one of the fastest of its kind when switching between camera image and recording.
