SymplyPRO DIT Thunderbolt Desktop features a single LTO-8 Half-Height Tape Drive with both Thunderbolt 3 (USB4 Gen 3x) & 12Gb SAS (SFF-8644) Host Interfaces, 2 x 2.5″ SSD Docking Bays, and a 12Gb SAS (SFF-8644) Expansion port in a sleek space grey rugged metal alloy enclosure. Dual Thunderbolt 3 ports support both device charging & daisy chaining. 2.5″ SSD that are docked to the 2.5” drive bays, or SAS drives connected via the 12Gb SAS (SFF-8644) Expansion Port are bridged to Thunderbolt by the SymplyPRO DIT. LTO-8 boasts a native capacity of 12TB (30TB compressed) and native performance of 300MB/Sec (750MB/Sec compressed), supports 256-bit encryption along with WORM media. Compatible with LTFS (Linear Tape File System) making backup and archive operations easier to an open source and interchangeable tape format. Symply tape products feature massive interoperability and are compatible with industry leading software providers. Premium cooling fans and power supply (Internal Auto-Switching Power Supply, 110-240v).
