The AJA 12G-AM-R-ST is an 8-channel AES audio embedder/disembedder Mini-Converter with 12G-SDI input and output up to 4K/UltraHD. This model includes an ST single-mode fiber receiver SFP for single-link fiber input. AES disembedding is always functional, providing four AES outputs, while embedding is user-selectable on a channel-pair basis.

The AJA 12G-AM-R-ST embeds and disembeds up to eight channels of balanced AES audio on a 12G-SDI signal, supporting SD, HD, 2K, UltraHD and 4K up to single-link 12G-SDI. AES disembedding is always functional with four AES outputs, while audio embedding can be selected on a channel-pair basis to either pass the SDI input audio or embed input AES audio from the supplied XLR breakout cable. The unit automatically detects and configures the input video standard and can be configured via DIP switches or AJA Mini-Config software over USB.

This model includes an ST single-mode fiber receiver SFP for single-link fiber input. A universal power supply is included and the unit is backed by a five year warranty.
