SymplyPRO XTL Ethernet Module for SymplyPRO XTL 24, 40 and 80-slot tape libraries adds integrated dual 10Gb Ethernet connectivity to the SymplyPRO XTL Tape Library without the need for additional power sources, desktop or rack-mount space. Integrated Ethernet connectivity allows for the decentralisation and disbursement of the library LTO resources over iSCSI. For macOS users, a single ATTO XtendSAN iSCSI Initiator license is included. Installation of the Ethernet Module occupies an LTO drive bay in the SymplyPRO XTL library; reducing the total number of drives installable in the base library by one. A total of four (4) LTO drives can be connected to a single Ethernet Module.
