The studio bridgeplate can easily slide onto the lightweight ARRI standard 12″ dovetail plate (DP12A) for additional leverage and mounting options. It is made of CNC aluminum and it is also designed with locking levers to secure the bridgeplate to the dovetail. The ARRI Standard Studio Bridgeplate comes with two tapered, 12″ 15 mm rods to easily mount and dismount your camera and accessories. The studio-offset rods are spaced 100 mm apart. One 1/4″-20 and one 3/8″-16 screw allow mounting a variety of cameras, and the plate locks and slides up and down the rods with the use of a locking lever. A flat screwdriver is provided to tighten the mounting screws, and it can be attached to the bridgeplate with a magnet.

This pair of SHAPE 15 mm Aluminum Rods (12″) connect into your camera rig, extend it, and let you add various SHAPE and third-party accessories compatible with 15 mm rods. With these two rods and with a few fundamental accessories, you can most certainly even begin building your own rig from scratch.
The rods are each 15 mm in diameter, 12 inches long, hollow, non-threaded, and made of reliable aluminum coated with a clear finish.
