Combined with a new video processing system, which uses technology designed for the flagship EOS C500 model in Canon’s digital cinema camera range, it delivers superb high-resolution images with increased sensitivity (ISO up to 102,400), less noise, reduced image distortion, as well as shallow depth of field. The Canon Log Gamma setting offers 12 stops of latitude (800% dynamic range) to ensure maximum flexibility in post-production, while the Extended Dynamic Range option enables faster turnaround times by delivering footage with a wider range. extended dynamic range without the need for calibration.
State-of-the-art autofocus for increased control
The EOS C100 Mark II incorporates Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF for an incredible level of control with minimal effort. Continuous autofocus automatically tracks subjects in the center of the screen and focuses on them, for easier action shots. One-Shot AF with improved precision makes focusing even easier.
Face detection autofocus, which reacts to subjects’ faces, is also available. Interviews and filmed interventions are thus greatly simplified for videographers working alone.
Select the parameters according to your production
Shoot without limits to meet all your production goals. Record video in AVCHD or MP4 format to two SD memory cards at up to 1080p resolution at 60fps, with relay or simultaneous recording options. Slow and fast motion recording is also available in MP4 format, giving you a wide range of creative effects. For even more flexibility and speed of sending, you can even shoot AVCHD sequences in HD and record MP4 files in SD resolution.

With its 3.5″ 1.23 megapixel OLED display and large tilting viewfinder, you have a sure way of controlling all your shots. Easier sharing, more control
Built-in Wi-Fi allows file transfer via FTP for easy sharing, and remote control of the device via a web browser. Control options can be expanded even further with the Canon RC-V100 remote control, giving you the freedom to shoot from places previously unreachable.
Recording with external devices
The HDMI output allows the EOS C100 Mark II to meet the quality criteria of the most demanding productions, for high bit rate recording on external devices. It is possible to output the embedded timecodes at the same time as the video and audio files.
